Metacaliper

Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 October 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Crystal Lotus Solutions LLP for the use of Metacaliper. Please read them before you create a Workspace. Section 4 explains how orders are processed by our reseller, Paddle.com.

1. Who we are. Metacaliper (the “Service”) is provided by Crystal Lotus Solutions LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India (LLPIN AAZ-6912), with its registered office at 3-36, Aikya, Tapovanam, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh 515004, India (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can reach us at support@metacaliper.com.

2. Accepting these Terms. You accept these Terms when you create a Workspace or an account, accept an invitation to a Workspace, or use the Service. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it, and “you” means that organization. You must be at least 18 years old. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

3. Business use. The Service is a tool for businesses and professionals who build and release Salesforce applications. It is not offered to consumers for personal, family or household use. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be excluded by contract.

4. Orders and payment through Paddle. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you buy a paid Plan, you buy it from Paddle, which collects the payment and any applicable sales tax, VAT or GST, and issues your invoices; Paddle’s Buyer Terms apply to the purchase. We provide the Service to you under these Terms. Enterprise subscriptions may instead be agreed in a separate order form with us; where an order form and these Terms differ, the order form applies to that subscription.

5. Definitions. A Workspace is the account space an organization uses in the Service. Members are the people invited to a Workspace; billable Members are those whose role can start jobs, as described on the pricing page. Customer Data is everything you or your Members put into, retrieve with, or connect to the Service, including Salesforce metadata, repository content, comparisons, snapshots and deployment records. A Plan is the subscription level (Free, Solo, Team, Business or Enterprise) that sets a Workspace’s limits and features. An Environment is a Salesforce org connected to a Workspace.

6. Free trial and Free Plan. A new Workspace receives a 14-day trial of the Team Plan, without payment and without a card. You are not charged at the end of the trial: unless you have started a paid Plan, the Workspace moves to the Free Plan, and section 8 applies to anything beyond the Free Plan. We notify the Workspace’s Owners and Admins 7 days and 1 day before the trial ends. One trial is given to each new Workspace. The Free Plan has no time limit, and we may change or withdraw it with at least 30 days’ notice.

7. Paid Plans, renewal and cancellation.

  • Prices. Prices are published on our pricing page in US dollars, per Workspace per month, and include applicable tax. Add-ons (extra concurrent jobs, extra storage and, on the Solo Plan, extra billable Members) are priced there too.
  • Renewal. A paid Plan renews automatically at the end of each monthly billing period, and Paddle charges the payment method on file, until the Plan is canceled.
  • Changing Plans. An upgrade, or an added add-on, takes effect at once and is charged for the rest of the current period, prorated. A move to a smaller Plan, or fewer add-ons, takes effect at the end of the current period; it can be scheduled only when the Workspace’s usage fits the smaller Plan.
  • Canceling. You can cancel at any time from the Billing screen. The paid Plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for, and the Workspace then moves to the Free Plan. No further charges are made after cancellation.
  • Refunds. Refunds are given under our Refund Policy.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, the Workspace keeps full access while Paddle retries the payment, and we ask the Workspace’s Owners and Admins to update the payment method within 14 days. If Paddle cannot collect the payment after its retries, the subscription is canceled and the Workspace moves to the Free Plan.
  • Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. A new price applies from your first renewal after the notice period, and you can cancel before then. A price locked for a founding customer stays locked for the period stated when it was given.

8. Plan limits and fair use. Each Plan has limits on billable Members, Environments, concurrent jobs, storage, schedules, retention periods and other features, published on our pricing page. Environment limits on paid Plans are fair-use limits that protect the Service for all customers. If a Workspace exceeds its Plan, it stays readable, but new jobs that would exceed the limit do not start until usage fits the Plan or the Plan changes. When a Workspace moves to a smaller Plan (at the end of a trial, a cancellation or a downgrade): Environments, pipelines and git connections beyond the Plan are paused and deleted 90 days after pausing unless the Plan again has room for them; billable Members beyond the Plan have read-only access; and data that the smaller Plan does not keep is deleted after the retention periods published on our pricing page. We notify Owners before paused items are deleted.

9. Accounts and security. You are responsible for your Members, for what they do in the Service, and for keeping sign-in credentials and authenticator devices secure. Tell us promptly at support@metacaliper.com if you believe an account has been compromised.

10. Connecting Salesforce and git. You confirm that you are authorized to connect each Environment and git repository you connect, and that doing so is permitted by your agreements with Salesforce, your git provider and your own customers. The Service acts on your instructions: comparisons, retrievals, validations, deployments, rollbacks, pushes, pull requests and promotions run because you or your Members start them, or because a pipeline or schedule you configured starts them. Before deploying to an Environment, you are responsible for reviewing the changes, validating them, running the tests your organization requires, and keeping your own backups. Metacaliper snapshots and rollback help recover metadata, but they do not back up records (data) and are not a substitute for your own backup and change-control processes. Jobs use your Salesforce and git providers’ APIs and count toward their limits.

11. Acceptable use. You must not, and must not let anyone else: break any law or infringe anyone’s rights; access, or try to access, data or Environments you are not authorized to access; connect an Environment or repository without the owner’s authorization; upload or spread malware; probe, scan or test the Service’s vulnerability without our written permission; interfere with or overload the Service, or work around its limits; scrape or copy the Service, or use it to build a competing product; resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties except as Members of your Workspace; share accounts between people; or use the Service in violation of export control or sanctions laws.

12. Customer Data. You own your Customer Data. You give us a limited permission to host, copy, process and transmit it only to provide, secure and support the Service for you, and as described in our Privacy Policy and, where you have signed it, our Data Processing Addendum. We do not sell Customer Data, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models. We may use information about how the Service is used (for example job counts, durations and error rates), which does not identify you or include Customer Data, to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for the content and legality of your Customer Data and for having the rights to use it with the Service.

13. Third-party services. The Service works with services that you choose, such as Salesforce, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket and Azure DevOps. Those services are provided by their owners under their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, their changes, their limits, or what they do with data you send them, and a change they make may change or end a feature of the Service. Metacaliper is not affiliated with or endorsed by Salesforce, Inc. Salesforce is a trademark of Salesforce, Inc.

14. Our intellectual property. We own the Service, its software, design and documentation, and all intellectual property rights in them. During your subscription we give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your organization’s internal business purposes under these Terms. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without obligation to you.

15. Availability, support and changes. We work to keep the Service available and to fix problems promptly, and we provide support by email at support@metacaliper.com, with the response levels published for each Plan on the pricing page. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free; an availability commitment applies only if it is written into an Enterprise order form. We may plan maintenance and improve the Service; if we remove a feature that is material to a paid Plan, we give at least 30 days’ notice, and you may cancel and receive a prorated refund of the period already paid for. Features marked as preview may change or be withdrawn.

16. Security and confidentiality. We protect Customer Data with the measures described on our Security page. Each party keeps the other’s confidential information confidential, uses it only for this agreement, and protects it with reasonable care. This does not apply to information that is public, already known to the recipient, independently developed, or that must be disclosed by law (after notice where the law allows).

17. Suspension. We may suspend access to a Workspace, with notice where practical and only to the extent needed, if: your use creates a security risk or harms the Service or others; you materially breach section 11; or the law or a court requires it. We restore access once the cause is resolved. A Workspace whose paid Plan ends for non-payment moves to the Free Plan as set out in section 7, and is not suspended for that reason alone.

18. Term, termination and your data. These Terms apply for as long as you use the Service. You may stop using the Service, cancel a paid Plan, or close your Workspace at any time. We may terminate these Terms for a Workspace if you materially breach them and do not fix the breach within 30 days of notice, or at once for serious or repeated breach of section 11. If we terminate without cause, or close the Service, we give at least 60 days’ notice and refund any prepaid amount for the period after termination. After a Workspace is closed, Owners can export its Customer Data for 30 days; after that we delete it within 90 days, except where the law requires us to keep it. Sections 12 (last sentence), 14, 16, 19, 20, 21, 23 and 24 continue after termination.

19. Warranties and disclaimer. Each party confirms that it has the authority to enter into these Terms. We confirm that the Service will perform materially as described in its documentation; if it does not, tell us, and we will fix it or, if we cannot do so within a reasonable time, you may cancel and receive a prorated refund of the period already paid for. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that a deployment, validation or rollback will succeed in a particular Environment, because the result depends on that Environment and on Salesforce.

20. Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows: neither party is liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, arising out of or relating to these Terms; and each party’s total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms is limited to the greater of the amounts paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and US$100. These limits do not apply to your obligation to pay for the Service, to a party’s indemnity obligations under section 21, to breach of section 11, or to liability for fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, or that cannot be limited by law.

21. Indemnity. We will defend you against a third-party claim that the Service, as we provide it, infringes that party’s intellectual property rights, and pay the amounts finally awarded or agreed in settlement. This does not apply to claims caused by your Customer Data, your combination of the Service with other services, or use in breach of these Terms. If such a claim is made, we may modify the Service, obtain a license, or end the affected subscription and refund the prepaid amount for the remaining period. You will defend us against a third-party claim arising from your Customer Data, from connecting an Environment or repository you were not authorized to connect, or from your breach of section 11, and pay the amounts finally awarded or agreed in settlement. The party seeking defense must notify the other promptly, give it control of the defense, and cooperate reasonably.

22. Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. For a material change we give at least 30 days’ notice by email to Workspace Owners or in the Service, before it takes effect. If you do not agree to the change, you may cancel before it takes effect and receive a prorated refund of the period already paid for. Continuing to use the Service after the change takes effect means you accept it. The date at the top of this page shows when the Terms last changed.

23. Governing law and disputes. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties will first try in good faith to resolve a dispute by discussion for 30 days. A dispute that is not resolved is decided by arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator appointed by the parties, seated in Bengaluru, India, and conducted in English. Subject to arbitration, the courts at Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction. Either party may seek urgent interim relief from a competent court to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.

24. General. Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Notices to you are sent to the email of the Workspace’s Owners; notices to us go to support@metacaliper.com. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or to a successor of the Service, with notice. The parties are independent contractors. These Terms, with any order form, the Refund Policy, the Privacy Policy and, where signed, the Data Processing Addendum, are the entire agreement about the Service and replace earlier agreements about it. If a provision is unenforceable, it is changed to the minimum extent needed and the rest remains in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms are written in English, and the English version applies.
